A real page turner, I didn’t want to put this down.\u00a0

Running two perspectives parallel was very clever, lulling you into thinking they are on the same timeline.\u00a0\u00a0

The characters are cleverly brought to life with each having their own chapter,\u00a0 which continues throughout the story, weaving along with flashbacks to their friendship,\u00a0 their families and why each ended up having a need to undertake the hike.\u00a0

The atmosphere and location are written in a way it is visually spectacular, and you find yourself immersed in the surroundings as if you’re there.\u00a0

You\u00a0 can feel your own anxiety and heartbeat picking up the pace,\u00a0 whilst you feel like you are enduring the cliffhangers with\u00a0 the same adrenaline the four are feeling.

This is Lucy Clarke at her best..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
