I never did.  The writing is that good that whilst the clues are there I missed them totally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is very 1970s with the cassette tapes but topped up with modern day technology and voice notes. <br>The conclusion was not what I was expecting, I really wanted a different outcome for Eve and her mum but as for the murderers well I never saw that coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eve<\/strong>&nbsp;is clearing her father\u2019s house when she finds an old cassette player and a box of tapes. Though grieving, she smiles at the spark of nostalgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One tape is labelled \u2018Eve\u2019 \u2013 in her mother,&nbsp;<strong>Angela<\/strong>\u2019s, scrawled handwriting. She disappeared for good more than ten years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tape whirrs. A voice crackles. \u2018My name is Angela\u2019. Tears fill Eve\u2019s eyes at the familiar voice, at the thought this message is just for her. But the next words make her heart pound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2018If they say I\u2019m missing, I\u2019m not. If you\u2019re listening to this, I\u2019ve been murdered.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desperate for answers, Eve has no one left to ask \u2013 only a box of tapes that could lead to the truth. But the more she listens, the more she realises she can never go to the police\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because Eve\u2019s mother had her own secrets.
