This was a really easy book to digest, a bit predictable in places but I definitely didn’t see the ending coming even though it was lighthearted.
Dan has his own accountancy business and a very close relationship with his brother Connor who works for him.
Lorna Dans wife is argumentative and bored. She dreams of better things, even though her friends tell her Dan is a great guy, steady and dependable.
Lorna’s works in a doctors surgery and doesn’t get on with her boss Espheth. The fiction spilling over at times between them.
When Lorna deliberately avoids sending a referral for a patient, she’s taken into see one of the doctors and reprimanded in front of Espheth, but Lorna is having none of it and quits.
So when new neighbours move in next door to Dan and Lorna she decides to befriend them much to Dans dismay.
Perry and Ingrid are the perfect couple in looks and seemingly in their marriage. Lorna sees them as interesting and exciting. But they have a secret and Dan and Lorna are about to find out that nice neighbours aren’t always nice.
