What powerful writing about Ella and Parker’s love and how intense their passion is.
This is not a book I would ever have picked up but wow it is phenomenal.
A few times I was confused but then it comes together and suddenly I am understanding the plot.
This is a beautiful love story with a time travelling couple. Stuck in limbo when Parker loses his power to travel Rose, his friend and travelling companion is left holding him in place, stabilising him in this time they shouldn’t be in whilst they try to find a solution to get his power back. Rose health is deteriorating whilst she holds Parker avoiding him disappearing.
Seeking out professor McGregor, who in the future work helped develop there powers to ask for his help. The only option is to get blood samples from a traveller in the current time. Ella as no idea she’s a time traveler but finds herself thrust into the situation and her blood needed for professor McGregor to work with for an andedote.
Ella and Parker are lovers on the future and Ella can feel the strong pull of attraction when she’s meets him in the present time. But she has no idea why.
There aren’t masses of characters in this book which helps immensely when following the story. The very different character names avoid confusion and it’s clear who is who.
Brilliantly written, I don’t know how this author managed to keep track of the time lines to pull together this outstandingly beautiful story
