About:

James Fitzpatrick is a high-profile partner in one of London’s most successful law firms – at the top of his profession.

But when he starts a flirtation with a woman working on the IT helpdesk of his company, his life begins to fall apart: missed appointments, career-ending mistakes at work – it’s almost as if someone has access to every facet of his life.

Then, his wife meets a fatal accident in their north London home and James is prime suspect.

But who is the woman at the other side of the computer screen? And why is she always watching?

My review:

Is this a mystery, suspense or murder story? Suspense for sure, its difficult to put down, but the murderer is named from the outset so where’s the mystery.

Bella is a loose cannon, James a guy you feel for and really Bella does not deserve him.

The story moves at pace, it never lets you come up for air and nor do you want too.

By chapter 40 you think you know who the co conspirator is and how things are going to pan out. My mind was racing by chapter 44 going through all the possible combinations..

Is it Charlotte and Bella or is it Caleb in collaboration with Bella or is Bella in league with Tristan and the whole trying to destroy each other a cover up or are Bella and James really the ones fooling everyone else, the only thing we really know is Bella is behind the whole scheme but who with?

The final chapters bring everything together beautifully but don’t expect an happy ending because as with real life time is the only healer.
